EST Hellas (www.est-hellas.gr), owned at 50% by EnerCo team of companies, is the branch of the German company EST Energie. EST Energie & Solar Technik (www.est-energie.de) was founded in 1997 by Alfred Karner as EST Energie & Solar Technik e.K.. In 2005 it changed to EST Energie & Solar Technik GmbH. Mr. Karner has installed the first PV-system for Siemens AG Germany in 1982 in Egypt as Siemens installation manager. Until 1996, Mr. Karner was charged for hundreds of installations in the field of photovoltaic, hybrid systems, UPS-systems, diesel generator units etc. throughout the world as project manager for Siemens AG Germany. Since 1999, EST Energie & Solar Technik is one of the leading German companies in the field of photovoltaic in Germany. Fields of activity:
	- PV - Photovoltaic - grid connected systems - PV- Photovoltaic - stand alone systems - PV- hybrid systems with photovoltaic & diesel generators - Emergency power supply by means of photovoltaic - Emergency power supply by means of diesel generators - UPS - uninterruptible power supply for telecommunication systems - Obstruction light - Planning, installation & maintenance of BHKW - cogeneration units
